allied health care staff. Author Biography: Dr. Asif Anwar graduated from Northeastern Illinois University, in Chicago
IL, in 1997. Later he proceeded with his Internal Medicine residency training, at University of New Jersey (UMD-NJ) and
Saint Louis University in Saint Louis Missouri. He also completed his fellowship training in Pulmonary, Critical Care and
Sleep Medicine from SLUH in 2008. He has been affiliated with the US Air force, and currently holds the rank of a Major,
and works with the Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT), and as a Flight Surgeon with the Air National Guard. He is
board certified and a Fellow of American College of Chest Physicians. He is Clinical Assistant Professor, at University
of Wisconsin-Madison, and Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Anwar has published original research in the
peer-reviewed scientific journals.
