머리말
우리 몸에 대한 이미지는 역동적으로 변화하는 개념이다. 선천적이나 세월이 흐르며 후천적으로 생긴 우리의 신체이미지에
대한 변화는 심각한 고뇌를 만들 수 있다. 나이가 드는 것은 자연스러운 것이지만 사춘기때 코나 귀 모양이 원치 않는 모습으로
변하는 것은 일부 사람들에게는 스트레스가 될 수 있다.
얼굴 부위의 노화에 대한 개념은 우리의 지식이 늘어나면서 발전되어 왔고 지방의 볼륨 변화와 뼈의 노화 과정 등에 대해서
더 잘 이해하게 되었다. 최근의 노화를 되돌리는 과정은 쳐진 조직을 올려주는 것 뿐만 아니라 특별한 부위에 볼륨을 복원시켜
얼굴 전체의 라인을 살리고 피부 상태를 개선시키는 쪽으로 발전하였다. 많은 케이스에 있어서 지방과 조직의 비율을 적절하게
맞추는 것이 치료의 중요한 부분이 되었다.
지방 조직의 임상적 사용은 최근 몇 년 동안 눈에 띄게 증가하였다. 지방흡입술이 그 동안 사용되어 왔지만 1980년대에 발전이
있었고, 1990년도에 Coleman에 의한 비외상성 프로토콜의 체계화로 특히 지방이식의 생존률이 많이 증가되었다. 최근에는 작은
직경의 캐뉼라를 사용하고 바늘을 사용하더라도 얕은층에 주사를 하는 방식으로 미세한 주름의 개선도 가능하게 되었다.
지방이식술에서 지방 입자의 크기를 조정하는 것은 울퉁불퉁한 변형을 막기 위하여 중요하다.
안면거상술 방법도 많이 개선 되었고 고식적인 방법이 가지는 문제들을 해결하였다. 박리를 적당하게 하고 지방 이식을 통해
중안면부의 볼륨을 증가시키는 방법들이 도입되었다. 또한 보다 자연스럽고 완벽한 결과를 위해서 다양한 기법들을 조합하여
치료하는 경향이 생겼다.
이 책은 안면부 지방이식과 안면거상술에 대한 최신 테크닉과 적응증에 대해서 소개하고자 한다.
첫 번째 섹션에서는 노화에 대한 다른 이론들과 얼굴의 각 부위 조직의 시간에 따른 변화에 대해서 다뤄볼 것이며 요즘의
지방이식 방법, 발생 가능한 합병증에 대해서 살펴볼 것이다.
두 번째 섹션에서는 얼굴부위에 지방을 넣기 위해서 알아야 할 부위별 지식과 최소침습 안면거상술의 방법들에 대해서
다뤄볼 것이다. 이 섹션에서는 자세한 설명과 일러스트가 첨부되어 있다. 우리는 이 책을 통해 얼굴 각 부위의 지방 이식
방법과, 언제 얕은층과 깊은층의 지방 이식을 함께 시행해야 하는지 설명할 것이다.
마지막 장에서는 앞에 기술한 것들에 대한 임상적인 케이스를 제시할 것이다.
